Overview

EmpCenter now uses Single Sign-on (SSO) for all employee access. This means staff must sign in using their district email address and their Microsoft 365 password

Because EmpCenter authentication is now fully integrated with Microsoft, password resets must be completed through Microsoft’s password reset tools.

If an employee cannot reset their Microsoft password online, they must complete in-person identity verification either at the Service Desk OR at their campus with designated staff.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  Access the EmpCenter Portal
   • Go to: https://ysleta.wta-us8.wfs.cloud/workforce/SSO.do

 

2.  Log in Using SSO

 

• • Enter your full district email address
  • Enter your Microsoft password
  • Complete MFA (multi-factor authentication) if prompted

Note: you no longer use Employee ID or a standalone EmpCenter password. Everything is handled through Microsoft account authentication.

 

3. Resetting You Password

Since EmpCenter now relies on Microsoft for authentication, resetting your password must be done via the Microsoft Security Info portal:

Go to: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info

                        From there, you can:

• Reset or change your password
• Update authentication methods
• Manage MFA options

You must have access to your recovery methods (phone/email/app) to complete the reset

4. If You Cannot Reset Your Password Online

 

If you are unable to change your password through Microsoft due to:

 

• Locked account
• No recovery method access
• Authentication method failure

…then in-person verification is required.

• YISD Service Desk - Present valid identification, such as your district badge or a government-issued ID, to complete the identity verification process.
• Authorized Campus Personnel - Present valid identification to designated staff, including:
  • Secretary
  • Librarian
  • Instruction Technology Support (ITS)

 

5. After Resetting Your Microsoft Password

 

Once your Microsoft password is successfully updated:

 

• • • Return to the EmpCenter SSO page
    • Log in with your district email and your new Microsoft Password
